Working with alcohol ink on yupo paper is joyful and expressive.  The result is never predictable and always vibrant.  The shapes that are created are wondrous and exciting.  Manipulating the ink is as torturous as it is fascinating.  I love every moment of it, and, when I’m finished with the ink work, I get to do some creative mark making on top of the ink.

Yupo paper is a synthetic water-resistant paper which comes in various weights.
Alcohol inks are fast-drying, highly pigmented, alcohol-based inks.  Alcohol ink is waterproof, adding to its durable properties. Dye-based inks are transparent and extremely vibrant.
